The BC Lions and Edmonton Eskimos meet Friday in CFL action at Commonwealth Stadium.

The BC Lions look for a bounce back victory after losing their season opener to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The BC Lions have lost five of their last seven road games. Mike Reilly is completing 56.4 percent of his passes for 324 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Reilly has at least one touchdown pass in 17 of his last 19 games. Bryan Burnham and Lemar Durant have combined for 228 receiving yards and one touchdown while Duron Carter has six receptions. The BC Lions ground game is averaging four yards per contest, and John White leads the way with four yards on four carries. Defensively, BC is allowing 33 points and 354 yards per game. T.J. Lee leads the BC Lions with six tackles, Davon Coleman has one sack and Garry Peters has one pass deflection.

The Edmonton Eskimos look for another victory after beating the Montreal Alouettes in their season opener. The Edmonton Eskimos have won four of their last five home games. Trevor Harris is completing 78 percent of his passes for 447 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Harris has three or more touchdown passes in three of his last four games. Ricky Collins and Kenny Stafford have combined for 273 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Greg Ellingson has five receptions. The Edmonton Eskimos ground game is averaging 161 yards per contest, and CJ Gable leads the way with 154 yards on 20 carries. Defensively, Edmonton is allowing 25 points and 325 yards per game. Almondo Sewell leads the Edmonton Eskimos with five tackles, Kwaku Boateng has one sack and Anthony Orange has one interception.

The Lions are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games, 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 vs. West and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Eskimos are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Friday games, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in June and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Edmonton and 4-0-1 in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-0 in Eskimos last 4 games in June. The over is 3-1-1 in Lions last 5 games overall.

The BC Lions couldn't get anything going on the ground and lost at home in disappointing fashion. The Edmonton Eskimos were firing on all cylinders offensively and are going to be scary this season if that's an indication of things to come. The home team has won eight of the last 10 meetings between BC and Edmonton, and the home team has covered seven of those eight wins. The BC Lions have also been horrible ATS on the road these last two years. I'll lay the reasonable chalk with the Eskimos at home.

Edmonton Eskimos -4
