The Calgary Stampeders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats meet Saturday in CFL action at Tim Hortons Field.

The Calgary Stampeders look for another victory to build on their 2-1 start to the season. The Calgary Stampeders have won four of their last five road games. Bo Levi Mitchell is completing 63 percent of his passes for 527 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Levi Mitchell and Nick Arbuckle have combined for 882 passing yards and six touchdowns this season. Markeith Ambles and Reggie Begelton have combined for 359 receiving yards and one touchdown while Eric Rogers has 16 receptions. The Calgary Stampeders ground game is averaging 67.3 yards per contest, and Terry Williams leads the way with 67 yards on six carries. Defensively, Calgary is allowing 24.7 points and 365 yards per game. Cory Greenwood leads the Calgary Stampeders with 25 tackles, Chris Casher has two sacks and Tre Roberson has five interceptions.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats look for their third home victory to build on their 3-1 start to the season. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have won five of their last eight home games. Jeremiah Masoli is completing 70.1 percent of his passes for 1,325 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Masoli has at least one touchdown pass in 16 of his last 18 games. Defensively, Hamilton is allowing 19.2 points and 379.5 yards per game. Simoni Lawrence leads the Tiger-Cats with 20 tackles, Ja'Gared Davis has three sacks and Mike Daly has one interception.

The Stampeders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in Week 5 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in July. The Tiger-Cats are 4-14 ATS in their last 18 Saturday games, 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games in July and 6-18-3 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Stampeders are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Hamilton and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings. The over is 11-4 in Tiger-Cats last 15 games overall. The under is 5-2 in Stampeders last 7 games overall.

The Calgary Stampeders have owned Hamilton over the years and most of those games haven't been close. However, Calgary isn't nearly the team it's been in th past, as the offense is a bit sluggish at times and you can run on this defense. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are probably the most improved team in the league with an explosive offense, and they're sure to be ready for this contest after losing to Montreal as 14-point favorites. Maybe last week was a lookahead? Either way, I'm not all that high on Calgary. I'll take Hamilton by a touchdown.

Pick:
Hamilton Tiger-Cats -6
