The BC Lions and Ottawa Redblacks meet Saturday in CFL action at TD Place Stadium.

The Ottawa Redblacks need a victory here to snap a five-game losing streak. The Ottawa Redblacks have lost their last five home games. Dominique Davis is completing 62.4 percent of his passes for 1,846 yards, five touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Davis has five interceptions and one touchdown pass in his last three games. Dominique Rhymes and Brad Sinopoli have combined for 1,293 receiving yards and six touchdowns while RJ Harris has 31 receptions. The Ottawa Redblacks ground game is averaging 82 yards per contest, and John Crockett leads the way with 403 yards and on 74 carries. Defensively, Ottawa is allowing 30.1 points and 426.2 yards per game. Avery Williams leads the Ottawa Redblacks with 69 tackles, Avery Ellis has four sacks and Anthony Cioffi has two interceptions.

The Lions are 3-11 ATS vs. a team with a losing record, 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 Saturday games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The RedBlacks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Lions are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the under is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings in Ottawa. The over is 4-1 in RedBlacks last 5 Saturday games. The under is 4-0 in Lions last 4 games overall.

It's not easy to beat the same team twice in as many weeks, but the Ottawa Redblacks look awful right now and did nothing in their loss to the Lions last week. The Redblacks have not only lost five straight, but they're losing their last five games by an average of 25 points. The Ottawa Redblacks are also losing at home by an average of 12.2 points on the season. Three of the BC Lions four covers this season have come on the road, and they've won the last two games against the Redblacks by an average of 18 points. I'll take the Lions and the small chalk by default. Betting on the Redblacks isn't an option for me right now.
