The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders meet Saturday in CFL action at McMahon Stadium.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders look for a big road victory here to get back to a .500 record. The Saskatchewan Roughriders have lost eight of their last 10 road games. Kevin Glenn is completing 72.8 percent of his passes for 1,055 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. Glenn has 20 touchdown passes in his last 13 games played. Naaman Roosevelt and Bakari Grant have combined for 470 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Nic Demski has 15 receptions. The Saskatchewan Roughriders ground game is averaging 72.3 yards per contest, and Cameron Marshall leads the way with 166 yards on 30 carries. Defensively, Saskatchewan is allowing 26.7 points and 326 yards per game. Sam Williams leads the Saskatchewan Roughriders with 13 tackles, Willie Jefferson has two sacks and Jovon Johnson has four pass deflections.

The Calgary Stampeders could use a home victory after a shaky 2-1-1 start to the CFL season. The Calgary Stampeders haven’t lost a home game since October of 2015. Bo Levi Mitchell is completing 65 percent of his passes for 1,382 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Levi Mitchell has 39 touchdown passes in his last 21 games played. Kamar Jorden and Marquay McDaniel have combined for 623 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Lemar Durant has 14 receptions. The Calgary Stampeders ground game is averaging 70.2 yards per contest, and Jerome Messam leads the way with 188 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Calgary is allowing 27.5 points and 419 yards per game. Alex Singleton leads the Calgary Stampeders with 34 tackles, Micah Johnson has four sacks and Jamar Wall has one interception.

The Roughriders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Saturday games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Stampeders are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 home games, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Roughriders are 1-4-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Calgary and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings.

I've said it before, the Saskatchewan Roughriders don't win many games, but they compete at a high level and cover a good share of their games. So, getting this many points with them coming off a bye seems like a steal. Also, the Calgary Stampeders haven't exactly found their groove yet this season, as the defense has had major issues and they've failed to cover four of their last five contests. This should be another game where the rested Roughriders can hang around and get the cover.

Pick:
Saskatchewan Roughriders +11.5
