The Southeastern Louisiana Lions battle the Abilene Christian Wildcats in Southland college basketball on Friday.

The Southeastern Louisiana Lions took an eleven point lead in to the break and coasted to a 79-65 victory against the Central Arkansas Bears in the Southland quarterfinals.

Moses Greenwood was the Lions star with 22 points and nine rebounds with Marlain Veal adding 15 points, four pulls and four assists.

Von Julien gave SE Louisiana 13 points and five helpers followed by Brandon Gonzalez chipped in with seven points and three yanks.

The Abilene Christian Wildcats secured second in the Southland with wins in six of seven to close the regular season capped off by a 72-58 win versus Stephen F. Austin.

Jaylen Franklin led the Wildcats with 16 points, seven rebounds and ten helpers with Hayden Farquhar tossing in 15 points and snagging four pulls.

Abilene Christian saw ten points and seven boards from Damien Daniels followed by Jaren Lewis with 13 points and another five pulls.

SE Louisiana Lions are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 vs. Southland and are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games overall and are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win.
