Air Force Falcons -3.5 O/U: 135
The Boise State Broncos and the Air Force Falcons will meet up in college basketball action on Tuesday.
Boise State enters this game on an 8-10 record so far. After three straight wins over Wyoming, San Diego State and San Jose State, the Broncos have lost to Nevada and Fresno State in their last pair.
In the loss to the Bulldogs, Boise State’s top scorers—and the only Broncos in double-figures for the night—were Justinian Jessup and Alex Hobbs, each with 15 points and a combined eight assists and five rebounds.
Over on the Air Force side, they’re 7-11 this year. Following consecutive wins versus San Diego State and UNLV, the Falcons hit a tough opponent in Nevada during their last game and fell 67-52.
In the loss to the Wolf Pack, Air Force’s Lavelle Scottie was the only player in double-figures with 15 points, seven rebounds and one assist. Christopher Joyce was the next-highest Falcons scorer with nine points.
The Broncos are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. Boise State is 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Mountain West and 6-2 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games.
Meanwhile, the Falcons are 6-1 ATS in their last seven following a straight-up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. Air Force is 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Mountain West and 13-5 ATS in their last 18 home games.
Boise is kind of a tough team to figure out. If they’re on their game, they can play with some of the tough teams in the country, but they’ve also got a penchant to hit the wall and fail to put much of anything on the scoreboard.
That said, Air Force does have some nice key players, and they have put up some solid efforts in a few games here and there this year, but ultimately I think this is Boise’s game to control. I’m going Broncos.
