Akron came out flat after their tough game against Buffalo and couldn’t fight back after falling behind by a 39-19 margin at halftime. Akron struggled offensively agianst the Bobcats defense as the Zips shot just 29.3% from the field and 18.2% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Zips was Deng Riak who had 11 points, 8 rebounds, and a block.

The Falcons are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games, however, are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Zips are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Bowling Green has won 4 of their last 6 games and currently rank 45th in scoring offense, 190th in scoring defense, and 57th in defensive FG%.
Akron has lost 5 of their last 6 games and although their offense ranks just 282nd in scoring offense, the Zips have been solid defensively as they come into this match-up ranked 18th in scoring defense and 22nd in defensive FG%.
Bowling Green has had an outstanding season, however, the Falcons have struggled on the road this season as they currently have just a 5-6 record. Akron was dominated by Ohio and haven’t picked up many wins as of late, however, the Zips have been a competitive team this season and has played well at home posting a 12-3 record. Akron covered in their first match-up, a 73-69 loss at Bowling Green, and as I think they bounce back with a strong defensive performance agianst the Falcons, I’m taking Akron to cover this small spread. Good Luck!
