Alabama Crimson Tide +2.5 O/U: 143.5
The Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide will meet up on the college basketball court Tuesday.
Auburn comes in here at 20-9 this season. The Tigers are 4-1 in the last five games, falling to Kentucky and taking out Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Georgia and Mississippi State in that time.
In the win over the Bulldogs, Auburn’s lead scorer was Bryce Brown on 24 points with three assists. Anfernee McLemor added 14 points for the Tigers in that one, and Chuma Okeke logged 11 points with seven boards.
Over on the Alabama side, they’re 17-12 this season. Following consecutive wins over Vanderbilt 68-61 and South Carolina 68-62, the Tide fell in their last game Saturday to LSU 74-69.
In the loss to the Tigers, Alabama guard John Petty led the team with 23 points, four rebounds and two assists. Donta’ Hall doubled up with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Tide there, and Riley Norris had 13 points with nine boards.
The Tigers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven overall and 4-14 ATS in their last 18 after an ATS loss. Auburn is 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and the under is 4-1 in the last five Tuesday games.
Meanwhile, the Tide are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus a team with a winning straight-up record. Alabama is 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the SEC and the under is 7-0 in their last seven versus the SEC.
Auburn didn’t have a whole lot of trouble the last time these teams met up, securing an 84-63 victory back on February 2 at home. Since then the Tigers have played pretty well, but they’re still not close to that top national tier.
Still, the Tigers should have more than enough juice to keep Alabama at bay here, even in a rivalry game in enemy territory. I’m going to stick with Auburn to keep things rolling on a cover here.
