The LSU Tigers visit Coleman Coliseum to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in an SEC tilt.

The LSU Tigers reside in the bottom half of the SEC and their lack of consistent scoring has been the issue. LSU comes off of an 82-66 victory versus Mississippi as a 4.5 point favorite where a 45-29 second half run behind 50% marksmanship was the difference.

The Tigers saw Duopp Reath lead all scorers with 26 minutes and five pulls on 10-12 from the floor and 5-6 at the line. Skylar Mays gave LSU 17 points and six boards on 5-9 accuracy while Aaron Epps and Tremont Waters tossed in eleven points apiece and combined for 14 rebounds.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are trying to crack the top four in the SEC and break out of their win one, lose one trend of the past six games. Alabama comes off of a 78-50 rout of Tennessee where both ends of the floor were dominant with a 57.1%-27.6% difference in shooting.

Donta Hall topped the Crimson Tide attack with 17 points and eleven rebounds followed by Collin Sexton with 16 points and five pulls. John Petty gave Alabama 14 points and four assists while Braxton Key chipped in with eight points.

Under is 12-5 in LSU last 17 Tuesday games. Under is 6-2 in Alabama last 8 Tuesday games and under is 44-16 in Alabama last 60 home games and Alabama are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 vs. Southeastern. Favorite is 13-5-1 ATS in the last 19 meetings.

There are some numbers that favor both squads but the Crimson Tide has more numbers on their side…

Pick:
Alabama -6

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
