The Mountaineers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games following an ATS loss.
Georgia Southern has won 4 of their last 5 games and currently rank 16th in scoring offense, 5th in FG%, and 286th in scoring defense.
Appalachian State has lost 10 of their last 14 games and come into this match-up ranked 32nd in scoring offense, 96th in FG%, and 332nd in scoring defense.
This has the makings of a high scoring game as both of these offenses like to play at a fast pace and can put up a bunch of points up on the board. Georgia State has won 2 of their last 3 games agianst Appalachian State, however, all 3 games were competitive as in those losses, the Mountaineers loss by just 2.5 ppg. Appalachian State is a solid 8-3 at home this season and as I think their offense will be able to keep this game close, I think the play in this one is to take the home team and the points. Good Luck!
