The Washington Huskies will travel to Wells Fargo Arena to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils this Saturday night in College Basketball action.

The Washington Huskies won their 12th straight game and improved to 19-4 (10-0 Pac-12) on the season after defeating the Arizona Wildcats, 67-60, this past Thursday. Washington led by just a 29-28 margin at halftime, however, was solid on the offensive end in the 2nd half and was able to pull away after taking a 59-47 lead with 6:12 left in regulation. Washington shot 51.0% from the field while holding Arizona to just 37.7% shooting from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Huskies was David Crisp who had 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal.

On the season, Washington is averaging 72.3 ppg on 46.5% shooting from the field. The Huskies are averaging 7.4 three-pointers per game on 35.1% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Washington has been led by Jaylen Nowell (16.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.4 apg, 1.3 spg), Noah Dickerson (12.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.1 spg), David Crisp (12.2 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.7 apg), and Matisse Thybulle (10.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.2 apg, 3.3 spg, 2.2 bpg).

Defensively, Washington is holding their opponents to an average of 64.2 ppg on 40.1% shooting from the field. The Huskies have a rebound margin of 0.2 and a turnover margin of 1.8.

The Arizona State Sun Devils dropped to 15-7 (6-4 Pac-12) on the season after being defeated by the Washington State Cougars, 91-70, this past Thursday. Arizona State was outplayed on both ends of the court against the Cougars who came into the game with just a 1-8 Pac-12 record and couldn’t fight back after Washington State took a 65-40 lead midway through the 2nd half. Arizona State shot just 33.8% from the field and 15.2% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Sun Devils was Luguentz Dort who had 22 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 4 steals.

On the season, Arizona State is averaging 79.5 ppg on 44.4% shooting from the field. The Sun Devils are averaging 7.4 three-pointers per game on 34.5% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Arizona State has been led by Luguentz Dort (16.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.4 spg), Remy Martin (13.1 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 5.1 apg, 1.3 spg), Zylan Cheatham (11.6 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 3.5 apg), and Rob Edwards (10.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.2 apg).

Defensively, Arizona State is allowing their opponents to average 73.0 ppg on 40.4% shooting from beyond the arc. The Sun Devils have a rebound margin of 7.3 and a turnover margin of 0.0.

The Huskies are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS win and 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Sun Devils are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points, however, just 9-19-2 ATS in their last 30 games vs. Pac-12 opponents.

Washington continues to dominate Pac-12 competition led by their defense that ranks 26th in scoring defense, 25th in defensive FG%, and 2nd in blocks per game.

Arizona State has won 4 of their last 6 games despite their disappointing loss at Washington State and come into this game ranked T-43rd in scoring offense, 219th in scoring offense, and 15th in rebound margin.

Arizona State is one of the tougher teams in College Basketball to figure out as although hey have the talent to beat anyone they face, they are extremely inconsistent as we saw with their shocking 21-point loss to Washington State. Washington is a solid 5-2 on the road this season and as I think their defense will be able to give the Sun Devils trouble in this one, I think the Huskies remain perfect in conference play and cover this small road spread. Good Luck!
