The Arizona State Sun Devils dropped to 15-7 (6-4 Pac-12) on the season after being defeated by the Washington State Cougars, 91-70, this past Thursday. Arizona State was outplayed on both ends of the court against the Cougars who came into the game with just a 1-8 Pac-12 record and couldn’t fight back after Washington State took a 65-40 lead midway through the 2nd half. Arizona State shot just 33.8% from the field and 15.2% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Sun Devils was Luguentz Dort who had 22 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 4 steals.

Washington continues to dominate Pac-12 competition led by their defense that ranks 26th in scoring defense, 25th in defensive FG%, and 2nd in blocks per game.
Arizona State has won 4 of their last 6 games despite their disappointing loss at Washington State and come into this game ranked T-43rd in scoring offense, 219th in scoring offense, and 15th in rebound margin.
Arizona State is one of the tougher teams in College Basketball to figure out as although hey have the talent to beat anyone they face, they are extremely inconsistent as we saw with their shocking 21-point loss to Washington State. Washington is a solid 5-2 on the road this season and as I think their defense will be able to give the Sun Devils trouble in this one, I think the Huskies remain perfect in conference play and cover this small road spread. Good Luck!
