|Date & Time||Saturday January 19, 2019, 7:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: Arizona -4.5 -- Over/Under: 133.5
The Oregon State Beavers and Arizona Wildcats meet Saturday in college basketball action at the McKale Center.
The Oregon State Beavers look for another win after winning five of their last seven games. The Oregon State Beavers are averaging 73.8 points on 46.4 percent shooting and allowing 66.3 points on 39.6 percent shooting. Tres Tinkle is averaging 20 points and 4.3 assists while Stephen Thompson Jr. is averaging 15.7 points and 4.5 rebounds. Ethan Thompson is the third double-digit scorer and Kylor Kelley is grabbing 6.5 rebounds. The Oregon State Beavers are shooting 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 74.6 percent from the free throw line. The Oregon State Beavers are allowing 35.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 38.7 rebounds per game. The Oregon State Beavers have split their last four road games.
The Arizona Wildcats look for a victory after winning six of their last seven games. The Arizona Wildcats are averaging 73.7 points on 45.2 percent shooting and allowing 65.7 points on 42.6 percent shooting. Brandon Randolph is averaging 16.3 points and 3.5 rebounds while Chase Jeter is averaging 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds. Brandon Williams is the third double-digit scorer and Justin Coleman is grabbing 1.9 rebounds. The Arizona Wildcats are shooting 33.7 percent from beyond the arc and 75 percent from the free throw line. The Arizona Wildcats are allowing 30.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.1 rebounds per game. The Arizona Wildcats have won nine of their last 11 home games.
The Beavers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Wildcats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. Pacific-12 and 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 Saturday games. The Beavers are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Arizona and 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The under is 14-5-1 in Wildcats last 20 home games. The under is 7-2 in Beavers last 9 overall.
The Oregon State Beavers are an impressive 10-5-1 ATS on the season and have held their own on the road in four games where they're allowing 40.2 percent shooting. The problem is the Arizona Wildcats are a tough team to fade at home where they have a balanced attack and are winning by an average of 13 points. Arizona has also won nine of the last 10 meetings against Oregon State and should be eager to bounce back after suffering a bizarre loss Thursday to the Oregon Ducks. This line isn't big enough for me to get involved with the Beavers. I'll lay the reasonable chalk.
