Arizona Wildcats -13 O/U: 147.5
The Washington State Cougars and the Arizona Wildcats will meet up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.
Washington State comes into this one with a 9-14 record overall. The Cougars had a five-game losing streak going, but stunned Arizona State in their last outing Thursday with a big upset victory.
In the win over the Sun Devils, Cougars forward Robert Franks put up 34 points with 13 rebounds and two assists. CJ Elleby nearly had a triple-double for Washington State in that one with 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
Over on the Arizona side, they’re 14-9 this season. The Wildcats are sitting on a four-game losing streak right now, falling to USC, UCLA, Arizona State and Washington in that stretch.
In the loss to the Huskies, Arizona’s lead scorer was Justin Coleman on 16 points, four assists and five rebounds. Chase Jeter was the only other Wildcat in double-figures there with 12 points and three rebounds.
The Cougars are 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games. Washington State is 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the Pac-12.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats are 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in the last four overall. Arizona is 0-4 ATS in their last four versus the Pac-12 and the over is 5-0 in their last five Saturday games.
Washington State’s win over Arizona State was a nice effort all around. The Cougars were up 50-33 at the half in that one and kept the pressure on from there in an eventual 91-70 beatdown.
That’s obviously not the norm for the Cougars, but if they can continue a little bit of that mojo here, they could do some damage against a vulnerable Arizona squad. I’m going with Washington State on the cover.
