Little Rock Trojans +2 O/U: 149.5
The Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks and the Little Rock Trojans will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
UL-Monroe comes in here with a 15-14 mark so far. The Warhawks are just 1-3 in their last four games, with a win over App State and losses to UT-Arlington, Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State in that time.
In the loss to Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe’s top player was Daishon Smith on 23 points with eight rebounds. Travis Munnings notched a double-double for the Warhawks in that one as well with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Over on the Little Rock side, they’re 10-20 this year. The Trojans have lost their last five straight games, dropping to Texas State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State and Louisiana.
In the loss to the Cajuns, Little Rock’s Nikola Maric led the team with a double-double on 24 points and 10 rebounds. Finishing with 19 points and eight rebounds for the Trojans in that one was Rayjon Tucker.
UL-Monroe is 1-4 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four overall. The Warhawks are 0-4 ATS in their last four versus the Sun Belt and the over is 5-1 in their last six Saturday games.
Meanwhile, the Trojans are 1-6 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Little Rock is 0-5 ATS in their last five overall and 7-19-2 ATS in their last 28 after an ATS loss.
Louisiana-Monroe played pretty tight games versus Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State. the Warhawks’ last three losses have each been by six points or fewer, so they’re staying competitive for the most part even though they’re losing.
With that in mind, I think the Warhawks can pounce on a flailing Little Rock team here, as the Trojans haven’t been able to get the handle over their last five. I’m going with UL-Monroe in this one.
