Little Rock Trojans +1.5 O/U: 139.5
The Texas State Bobcats and the Little Rock Trojans will match up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Texas State currently sits at 20-5 on the year. Following consecutive losses, the Bobcats have won their last three games versus Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State.
In the win over the Red Wolves, Texas State’s lead scorer was Nijal Pearson with 21 points, four rebounds and one assist. Alonzo Sule doubled up for the Bobcats there with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaylen Shead chipped in 17 points.
Over on the Little Rock side, they’re 10-15 this year. The Trojans are currently sitting on a three-game win streak as well, beating Troy, South Alabama and Texas-Arlington in succession.
In the win over the Mavericks, Little Rock’s Rayjon Tucker doubled up with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kris Bankston added 11 points with seven rebounds and three assists in that one, and three other players finished in double-figures for the Trojans.
The Bobcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six after a straight-up win and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games versus a team with a winning home record. Texas State is 5-2 ATS in the last seven road games and the over is 4-0 in their last four versus a team with a losing straight-up record.
Meanwhile, the Trojans are 4-1 ATS in their last five after a straight-up win and 5-11-1 ATS in the last 17 home games. Little Rock is 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games versus a team with a winning road record and the under is 7-3 in their last 10 home games.
After a couple of games versus Georgia Southern and Texas-Arlington that weren’t particularly close, the Bobcats have done fairly well over this three game stretch—despite a somewhat uninspiring 65 points at home against Coastal Carolina.
As for Little Rock, they’ve been a pretty feisty squad recently, and competitive in the vast majority of their games. I like the Trojans to step up here at home and cover.
