Arkansas Razorbacks -4.5 O/U: 141
The Missouri Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks will meet in college basketball activity on Wednesday.
Missouri enters this one at a decent 10-6 on the season. After dropping three straight versus Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama, Missouri got back in the win column against Texas A&M in their last outing Saturday.
In the win over the Aggies, Missouri’s lead scorer was Jordan Geist, with 17 points, five assists and five rebounds. Jeremiah Tilmon added 14 points and six rebounds, and Kevin Puryear put up 10 rebounds with eight points for the Tigers.
Over on the Arkansas side, they’re sitting at 10-7 this year. The Razorbacks have fallen in their last four straight games, dropping to Florida, LSU, Tennessee and Mississippi in that span.
In the loss to the Rebels, Arkansas’ top scorer was Keyshawn Embery-Simpson, with 16 points and one rebound. Game Osabuohien added 13 points for the Razorbacks, and Daniel Gifford put up 10 rebounds with nine points.
The Tigers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine Wednesday games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five following an ATS win. Missouri is 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the SEC.
Meanwhile, the Razorbacks are 1-5 ATS in their last six Wednesday games and 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games. Arkansas is 0-4 ATS in their last four overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four versus the SEC.
Since their nice wins over Illinois and Morehead State, Missouri has faced a few tough teams. Though they played reasonably well, the Tigers’ losses were all by at least 10 points in each.
Arkansas has been through the gauntlet lately as well, with results that are a little stronger overall. This should be a fun matchup, but I like Arkansas to pull away late at home and cover.
