The Army Black Knights host the American Eagles in Sunday college basketball.

The American Eagles are desperate for a win following a 70-68 loss at Lafayette on Wednesday night as a 2.5 point underdog.

American is clinging to 4thin the Patriot League after dropping three straight games by a grand total of two points in each.

Sa’eed Nelson gave the Eagles some explosiveness with 22 points and seven rebounds while Stacy Becton Jr. tossed in 13 points and grabbed six boards.

Sam Iorio and Mark Gasperini gave American 12 points and six rebounds each followed by Josh Alexander with another six points.

The Army Black Knights have lost consecutive contests after a 91-81 defeat at the hands of Lehigh as a 6.5 point underdog on Wednesday.

Army has lost six  of seven yet  are  still 5th in  the  Patriot  League standings with three games to go in the regular season.

Tommy Funk kept the Black Knights competitive with 26 points, three yanks and eight helpers while Matt Wilson added 16 points and eleven rebounds.

Army received eleven points and three pulls by followed Lonnie Grayson and Aaron Duhart with seven and five points with Grayson posting seven boards.
