Western Michigan has lost 12 of their last 13 games and have struggled on both ends of the court as they rank just 231st in scoring offense, 252nd in FG%, and 286th in scoring defense.
Ball State has lost 7 of their last 9 games and although their defense ranks just 243rd in scoring defense, the Cardinals have been solid on the offensive end as they rank 46th in scoring offense and 29th in FG%.
Western Michigan continues to struggle to pick up their first MAC win and really haven’t looked great as of late as they’ve lost their last 5 games by an average of 19.2 ppg. Ball State has been disappointing in conference play this season, however, as they’ve shown with their wins at Toledo & NIU, they do have the talent to be a very tough out in the MAC tournament this season. Ball Sate has an outstanding offense that should be able to put up plenty of points against the Western Michigan defense and as the Broncos are just 2-9 on the road this season, I’m taking Ball State to cover this large home spread.
