Baylor Bears -3.5 O/U: 139
The Oklahoma Sooners and the Baylor Bears will meet up on the college basketball court Monday.
Oklahoma is currently sitting at 15-9 on the year. The Sooners have lost their last four straight games, dropping to Baylor, West Virginia, Iowa State and Texas Tech during that stretch.
In the loss to the Red Raiders, Oklahoma’s Rashard Odomes led the team on 14 points and four rebounds. Brady Manek doubled up for the Sooners there with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Christian James logged 11 points with eight boards.
Over on the Baylor side, they’re 15-8 this year. Following a six-game winning streak, the Bears have lost their last consecutive two outings versus Texas 84-72 and Kansas State 70-63.
In the loss to the Wildcats, Baylor’s Devonte Bandoo led the team on 15 points with five rebounds and three assists. Freddie Gillespie and Jared Butler each provided 13 points for the Bears there, with a combined 13 rebounds and four assists.
The Bears are 7-1 ATS in their last eight after a straight-up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five Monday games. Baylor is 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 overall.
Meanwhile, the Sooners are 7-1-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 16-6-2 ATS in their last 24 overall. The over is 4-0 in Oklahoma’s last four after an ATS loss and the under is 5-1 in their last six versus a team with a winning straight-up record.
It’s been a tough stretch of four games for the Sooners. Baylor drilled Oklahoma 77-47 on January 28, and since then the Sooners have lost by eight to West Virginia, one to Iowa State and 12 to Texas Tech.
It’ll obviously be tough for the Bears to repeat another 30-point beatdown performance, but I don’t have a lot of issues taking them to cover again, especially at home. I’ll stick with Baylor here, even though I expect the Sooners to hang around for a while.
