Bethune-Cookman Wildcats -4 O/U: 149
The Howard Bison and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats will meet up on the college basketball court Monday.
Howard is currently sitting at 11-13 on the season. The Bison are 3-1 over their last four games, dropping to Norfolk State and taking out Delaware State, MD Eastern and Florida A&M during that stretch.
In the win over the Rattlers, Howard’s RJ Cole led the team on 20 points with seven assists and four rebounds. The only other Bison player in double-figures in that one was Charles Williams with 15 points and one assist.
Over on the Bethune-Cookman side, they’re 11-13 this year as well. The Wildcats are currently sitting on a three-game win streak, beating NC Central, NC A&T and Norfolk State in that time.
In the win over the Spartans, Bethune-Cookman’s Cletrell Pope led the way on 20 points with 15 rebounds. Malik Maitland added 18 points with eight assists for the Wildcats in that one, and Dondre Duffus chipped in 14 points.
Bethune-Cookman is 6-2 ATS in their last eight Monday games and 5-0 ATS in their last five home games. The Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in the last seven overall and the over is 4-1 in their last five Monday games.
Meanwhile, the Bison are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six after a straight-up win. The over is 8-3 in Howard’s last 11 after an ATS win and the under is 5-2 in their last seven road games.
Howard fell behind 36-34 against the Rattlers but had a solid second half en route to a 70-66 victory on Saturday. The Bison have been putting up some nice points totals lately, bagging at least 70 in each of their last seven outings.
That said, the Wildcats have been pretty solid on the scoreboard lately as well, and managed a 71-63 road win the last time these two teams met up. I’m going to stick with Bethune-Cookman to manage a cover here.
