The Drake Bulldogs go on the road to oppose the Bradley Braves in an MVC college basketball tilt.

The Drake Bulldogs fell to 1-3 in the Mountain West following a 57-54 defeat at Northern Iowa on Sunday as a three point underdog.

Drake scored just 23 first half points and trailed by six which was too much to overcome with both teams sinking shots at around 34%.

Nick McGlynn led the Bulldogs offense with 15 points and nine  rebounds while Brady Ellingson added eleven points and three yanks.

DJ Wilkins gave Drake another eleven points with three pulls and three helpers followed by a nine point, six rebound effort from Tremell Murphy.

The Bradley Braves are in desperation mode after a 69-64 loss to visiting Missouri State on Saturday has the team looking at an 0-4 start in the conference.

Bradley never got going at the offensive end of the floor with 42.9% shooting with Missouri State firing away at 52.9% with nine more shots.

Darrell Brown was the Braves lone double digit scorer with 12 points and four helpers while Elijah Childs adding nine points and five pulls.

Luuk van Bree, Jayden Hodgson and Kock Bar gave Bradley eight points apiece with Bar hauling in nine rebounds followed Nate Kennell and Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye tossing in six points each.

Drake Bulldogs are 11-2-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and Drake Bulldogs are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Bradley Braves are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and Bradley Braves are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall and Bradley Braves are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 vs. Missouri Valley. Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Bradley and home team is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

Bradley generally does their best at home but I’ll bake visiting Drake with the points and probably just watch with Nick Norton out for Drake...

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
