The Missouri State Bears and the Bradley Braves meet in college basketball action from Carver Arena on Wednesday.
The Bears come into this one at 13-14 on the year. The Bears are 3-1 in the last four games, falling to Southern Illinois while beating Illinois State, Drake and Indiana State otherwise.
In the win over the Sycamores, Missouri State’s Lamont West led the team on 22 points with nine rebounds. Tulio Da Silva added 11 points with eight rebounds, and Gaige Prim had 10 points with five boards.
Over on the Bradley side, they’re 18-9 this year. The Braves are on a three-game winning streak right now, taking out Evansville, Indiana State and Southern Illinois in that time.
In the win over the Salukis, Bradley’s Elijah Childs led the team with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Nate Kennell added 13 points with three rebounds there, and Koch Bar had 11 rebounds with nine points.
Bradley is 55-34 ATS in home games in February since 1997 and 13-4 ATS on Wednesday games in the last two seasons. The Braves are 8-0 ATS after allowing 60 points or less this season.
Bradley is 4-2 ATS versus the Bears in the last three seasons and 4-2 straight up over the last three seasons. Four of six games in this series have gone under the total in the last three seasons.
Missouri State has shown off some nice offensive capabilities over their last four games, posting 80 on Illinois State and a whopping 97 on Drake. The Bears have had some nice defensive wins this year, but lately when they don’t hit 70 they lose.
Bradley is in something of the same boat, but they’ve been a little tighter on the defensive side lately. In any case, this should be a pretty fun matchup. I’m going to stick with the Braves here, but probably staying away.
