The Bradley Braves snapped their 2-game losing streak and improved to 8-5 on the season after defeating the SE Louisiana Lions, 63-60, this past Saturday. In a tight back and forth game, Bradley looked like they were in trouble after SE Louisiana took a 60-55 lead with just 2:37 left in regulation, however, the Braves were able to pull out the victory after closing the game on an 8-0 run. Bradley shot just 34.0% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Braves was Elijah Childs who had 15 points, 8 rebounds, and a block.

Northern Iowa continues to struggle to put up offense as they come into this game ranked just 320th in scoring offense & 334th in FG%, and it’s going to be hard for the Panthers to match their 16 wins from last season as their defense has taken a major step back from last season and currently ranks just 169th in scoring defense & 216th in defensive FG%. Bradley has struggled a bit as of late, losing 4 of their last 6 games, however, this is still the same team that has wins against SMU & Penn State this season and currently has a defense that ranks 96th in scoring defense & 97th in defensive FG%. Bradley has been solid ATS at home this season and as I think their defense will give Northern Iowa trouble, I’m taking Bradley to cover this home spread.
