The Ball Sate Cardinals visit the Buffalo Bulls in MAC college basketball action on Tuesday.

The Ball State Cardinals need a quick turnaround after defeats in five of six following a 78-74 loss at Ohio on Saturday as a 2.5 point favorite.

Ball State sank shots at 47.5% but turned the ball over  17  times which led to six more Ohio shots  for the  winning margin.

Tayler Persons carried the Cardinals offense with 21 points, three yanks and five helpers with Kyle Mallers adding ten points and three pulls.

KJ Walton gave Ball State another ten points followed by Tahjai Teague with nine points and eight rebounds while Trey Moses and Zach Gunn tossed in eight points each and combined for 17 rebounds.

The #14 Buffalo Bulls rebounded from their second loss of the season to upend Kent State 88-79 as an eight point road favorite.

Buffalo trailed by one before getting their offense going in a 45-35 second half run behind 52.2% marksmanship to negate the Golden Flashes 43.5% shooting and seven more looks.

The Bulls offense relied on the twosome of CJ Massinburg and Nick Perkins who each pumped in 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Davonta Jordan and Dontay Caruthers each gave Buffalo 12 points with a combined nine helpers with Jeremy Harris adding nine points and three yanks.

Ball State Cardinals are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and  are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 vs. Mid-American. Buffalo Bulls are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs. Mid-American.  Over is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings and Ball State Cardinals are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings.

Buffalo is the cream of the crop in the MAC and are gaining notoriety in the college basketball world so I’ll give them the nod…

Buffalo -11

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
