The Central Michigan Chippewas advanced to the conference semifinals with an 89-81 victory against the Kent State Golden Flashes on Thursday.

The Buffalo Bulls dominated the Akron Zips 82-46 in the MAC quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon to advance to the semis on Friday.
Jeremy Harris led the Bulls rout with a game high 23 points, eight rebounds and three blocks while Jayvon Graves tossed in 13 points and snagged five pulls.
Dontay Caruthers gave Buffalo 12 points and six boards Nick Perkins and CJ Massinburg with a combined 21 points and 17 rebounds.
