Providence is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games while the under is 4-1-1 in their last 6 road games. Butler is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss while the over is 10-4 in their last 14 games overall. The home team is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.
I’m not sure how sold I am on laying this type of line with Butler as I don’t know if the Bulldogs are that much better than the Friars. However, the Bulldogs were more competitive in losing to Marquette and the home team has dominated this matchup in recent years and 4 of the last 5 meetings have been decided by double digits. Based on the history between these two teams, I feel that laying the points with Butler is the way to go in this one.
