Cal State Northridge Matadors +2 O/U: 152.5
The Cal State Fullerton Titans and the Cal State Northridge Matadors will match up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.
Cal State Fullerton comes in here with an 11-13 record overall. The Titans have won seven of their last eight games, taking out UC Riverside, LBSU, UCSB, Cal Poly, CSUN, UC Riverside and LBSU again in that stretch.
In the win over the Niners, Cal State Fullerton’s top scorer was Khalil Ahmad, with 19 points, five rebounds and five assists. Austen Awosika added 17 points and six boards for the Titans there, and Jackson Rowe posted 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Over on the Cal State Northridge side, they’re 10-15 this year. The Matadors have lost three of their last four games, falling to CSUF, UCSB and UC Davis during that time.
In the loss to the Aggies, Cal State Northridge’s top scorer was Terrell Gomez with 24 points, two rebounds and two assists. Lamine Diane was the only other Matador in double-figures there with 20 points and nine boards.
The Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 versus a team with a losing straight-up record. CSUF is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 after an ATS loss and the over is 5-2 in the last seven road games.
Meanwhile, the Matadors are 6-0 ATS in the last six Saturday games and 6-1 ATS in the last seven home games. CSUN is 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six versus the Big West.
It’s been a nice run for the Titans lately, and it’s helped the team improve on a sketchy record. CSUF is really scoring quite well these days, putting up at least 77 in six of their last seven.
CSUN had a pretty good run of scoring there for a while as well, but they’ve put up just 123 points across their last two games. I have to go with Cal State Fullerton on the cover here, even though the Matadors are pretty hot ATS lately.
