The High Point Panthers visit the Campbell Fighting Camels in Big South college basketball on Thursday.

The High Point Panthers are shooting for consecutive wins after downing Hampton 86-81 in overtime Saturday as a 4.5 road dog.

High point is 6thin the Big South standing and have an opportunity to crack the top floor but need everything to go their way in the final weeks of the season.

Jahaad Proctor led the Panthers upset bid with 29 points followed by Jordan Whitehead with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Ricky Madison gave High Point another eleven points and eleven rebounds with Brandonn Kamga netting 12 points.

The Campbell Fighting Camels were denied a third straight victory in a 76-71 loss at Presbyterian as a three point underdog.

Campbell has climbed to third in the Big South and need to finish the regular season strong to secure their position for the playoffs.

Chris Clemons continued to lead the Fighting Camels with 28 points followed by Cory Gensier with 19 points and four pulls.

Campbell received eleven points and six boards from Ja’cor Nelson while Isaac Chatman chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.
