Canisius fought back from an 82-73 deficit with just 2:17 left in regulation to tie the game at 82-all late, however Niagara was able to hand on for the victory after they took the lead for good on a Dominic Robb jumper with :18 seconds left in regulation. The Saints are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record, however, are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games following three or more consecutive home games. The Golden Griffins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Friday games, however, just 3-12 ATS in their last 15 home games.
Siena has won 6 of their last 8 games and although their offense can struggle to put up points as they rank just 337th in scoring offense, the Saints have been decent defensively as they come into this match-up ranked 36th in scoring defense and 88th turnover margin.
Canisius has won 4 of their last 7 games and currently rank 244th in scoring offense, 246th in FG%, and 257th in scoring defense.
Siena has been playing some of their best basketball of the season since the start of February as their defense continues to be solid and the Saints have started to get some great production from freshman, Jalen Pickett. Canisius has been solid in MAAC play, however, the Golden Griffins have been anything outstanding on either end of the court this season and has actually struggled at home, posting just a 4-8 record. Siena is playing the better basketball and in my opinion is the better team and as the Saints have a winning road record this season, I’m taking Siena and the points in this one. Good Luck!
