MAC college basketball features the Kent State Golden State Golden Flashes visiting the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The Kent State Golden Flashes improved to 19-6 with a 71-58 victory against Eastern Michigan as a 4.5 point favorite on Saturday.

Kent  State has  been  consistent overall  with  wins in  several close games as they try to improve their playoff position.

Antonio Williams carried the Golden Flashes with 20 points and six boards with Jaylin Walker tossing in 15 points with three yanks.

Philip Whittington netted 17 points and hauled in ten rebounds followed by Anthony Roberts who contributed eight points and four assists.

The  Central Michigan  Chippewas  come off  of  an 87-80  win versus  visiting Ohio  as  a 5.5  point  favorite on  Saturday.

Central Michigan needs a season ending hot streak and some help to finish in the top four of the conference with their #12 offense needing to score more consistently.

Shawn Roundtree led the Chippewas with 22 points and four yanks with Larry Austin Jr. adding 19 points and eight boards. 

David DiLeo gave CMU 18 points and four pulls while Kevin McKay and Robert Montgomery gave CMU 14 and 12 points and eight rebounds each.
