Monday college basketball action pits the Old Dominion Monarchs against the Charlotte 49ers.

The Old Dominion Monarchs have won three in a row after defeating Southern Miss 76-62 on Saturday as a seven point home favorite.

Old Dominion led by eleven points after 20 minutes and were never challenged behind 42.6% shooting and 18 more shots.

Ahmad Caver was the Monarchs top option with 19 points, four pulls and eight helpers while BJ Stith added 17 points and seven boards.

Xavier Green gave ODU 15 points, four yanks and five assists followed by Kalu Ezikpe and Jason Wade with eight points apiece and a combined eight rebounds.

The Charlotte 49ers are eyeing back to back victories after downing Louisiana Tech 55-40 on Saturday as an eight point home dog.

Charlotte took control with a 32-20 second half run with a 43.9%-27.8% edge in marksmanship to negate 13 extra Bulldogs shots.

Cooper Robb led the 49ers attack with 12 points and five rebounds with Malik Martin adding ten points and three yanks.

The twosome of Milos Supica and Jon Davis gave Charlotte nine points apiece with four boards each while Jailan Haslem added six points and four boards.
