Chattanooga Mocs +12 O/U: 144
The Wofford Terriers and the Chattanooga Mocs will match up on the college basketball court Thursday.
Wofford comes into this one at 24-4 on the year. The Terriers haven’t lost since way back on December 19, and they’ve taken out WCU, VMI, UNCG and Furman in their last four outings.
In the win over the Paladins, Wofford’s top scorer was Fletcher Magee, with 23 points, four rebounds and three assists. Cameron Jackson helped out the Terriers with 18 points and nine boards in that one, and Keve Aluma had 11 points with seven rebounds.
Over on the Chattanooga side, they’re 12-17 this year. The Mocs are 1-3 in the last four games, taking out the Citadel and falling to UNCG, Samford and Mercer otherwise in that stretch.
In the loss to the Bears, Chattanooga’s lead scorer was Jerry Johnson on 17 points and three rebounds. David Jean-Baptiste added 15 points and four assists for the Mocs in that one, and Ramon Vila had eight points with six boards.
The Terriers are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven after a straight-up win. Wofford is 6-1 ATS in the last seven overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven versus the Southern.
Meanwhile, the Mocs are 3-1-1 ATS in the last five after an ATS win and 8-20-1 ATS in the last 29 home games. The over is 12-4 in Chattanooga’s last 16 after an ATS win and the under is 5-2 in their last seven Thursday games.
Wofford has been pretty dominant during this winning streak, and there aren’t a whole lot of teams that have finished close to them (except maybe ETSU’s 78-76 affair).
The last time these teams met up was an 80-69 home win for the Terriers, and I don’t think things will be much different here. I’m firmly onboard the Terriers bandwagon right now.
