UConn has lost 5 of their last 9 games and come into this game ranked 80th in scoring offense, 107th in FG%, and 171st in scoring defense. Cincinnati has won 4 of their last 5 games and are once again led by their defense that ranks 7th in scoring defense, 31st in defensive FG%, and 26th in blocks per game.
UConn looked impressive against SMU, however, this is a Huskies team that has can really struggle offensively against strong defensive teams in their recent 3-game losing streak to Villanova, South Florida, and UCF, the Huskies averaged just 59.7 ppg. Cincinnati hasn’t been playing their best basketball as of late, however, they are 9-1 at home and as I think their defense is going to give UConn a bunch of problem, I’m taking Cincinnati to cover this double-digit spread.
