The Cincinnati Bearcats take the hardwood in an NCAA first round tilt in Friday college basketball action.

The Iowa Hawkeyes saw their dreams of a Big Ten championship end in a 74-53 loss to the Michigan Wolverines in the conference quarterfinals.

Tyler Cook topped the struggling Hawkeyes struggling offense with 14 points and six boards while Luke Garza tossed in another 14 points with four pulls.

Iowa received eight points and four boards from Isaiah Moss followed by Ryan Kriener who chipped in with six points and three yanks.

The Cincinnati Bearcats upset the powerhouse Houston Cougars 69-57 in the American conference championship game on Sunday.

The Bearcats jumped on the shoulders of their star, Jarron Cumberland who led all scorers with 33 points and eight rebounds.

Cane Broome gave Cincinnati 15 points and three  pulls followed by Tre Scott who contributed another 12 points and eight rebounds.

Iowa Hawkeyes are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss and  are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 NCAA Tournament games and  are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Cincinnati Bearcats are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games and  are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 NCAA Tournament games and  are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.

I find it hard to go against Cincinnati who will rely on their defense to contain the Hawkeyes…

Pick:
Cincinnati -3

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
