Cincinnati Bearcats -8.5 O/U: 132.5
The UCF Knights and the Cincinnati Bearcats will meet up on the college basketball circuit on Thursday.
UCF comes into this game on a 19-5 mark so far. After falling to Houston on February 7, the Knights have won their last three games, dropping SMU, South Florida and Memphis in that span.
In the win over the Tigers, UCF’s BJ Taylor led the way on 25 points with five assists and five rebounds. Aubrey Dawkins added 17 points for the Knights there, and Tacko Fall put up 15 points with seven rebounds.
Over on the Cincinnati side, they’re 21-4 this season. After getting an eight-game win streak snapped by Houston on February 10, the Bearcats came back and won their last game versus Wichita State 72-62.
In their win over the Shockers, Cincinnati’s Jarron Cumberland led the team on 27 points with five assists and six rebounds. Keith Williams chipped in 15 points there for the Bearcats and Cane Broome added 12 points.
The over is 4-0-1 in the Knights’ last five overall and 4-0-1 in their last five versus the AAC. UCF is 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams and the under is 5-0 in their last five meetings.
Meanwhile, the Bearcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. The over is 6-0 in Cincinnati’s last six home games and 9-3 in their last 12 overall.
UCF got revenge on Memphis with a 79-72 victory in their last outing, and the Knights have now put up at least 71 points in each of their last five wins.
There’s still a bit of a gauntlet for UCF to run through during the rest of the season however, and this first matchup with Cincinnati is a good way to kick it off. This should be a fun game to watch, but with the home lift and familiar surroundings I have to go Bearcats on the cover here.
