The Wichita State Shockers meet the Clemson Tigers in a second round NIT college basketball tilt.

The Wichita State Shockers out lasted the Furman Paladins 76-70 on Wednesday night in the first round NIT matchup.

Markis McDuffie led a balanced Shockers attack with 20 points and six boards followed by Jaime Echenique with 16 points and ten rebounds.

Erik Stevenson gave Wichita State 12 points and another six boards while Asbjorn Midtgaard chipped in with nine points and hauled in ten rebounds.

The Clemson Tigers kicked off the NIT with a 75-68 victory against Wright State  Raiders on  Tuesday as a 12 point favorite.

Marcquise Reed was the Tigers star, pouring in a game high 24 points with four pulls and four assists with 17 points, four yanks and three steals from Elijah Thomas.

Clemson received 16 points and nine rebounds from David Skara followed by Clyde Trapp who netted 12 points and snagged four boards.

Wichita State Shockers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and  are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win and  are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Atlantic Coast.
