The Bowling Green Falcons continue their non-conference college basketball schedule with a visit to the Cleveland State Vikings.

The Bowling Green Falcons are looking at a 4-4 record after falling to Hartford 76-63 on Saturday. Bowling Green managed only 22 first half points and finished at 37.7% shooting to negate eight more shots while a 10-19 effort at the stripe could not compete with the Hawks 23-24 mark at the stripe.

The Falcons received 17 points from Justin Turner on 7-15 from the field with Demajeo Wiggins adding eleven points and 14 rebounds on 3-7 and 5-8 at the line. BGSU received ten points from Dylan Frye on 3-9 from beyond the arc followed by a nine point effort from Antwon Lillard.

The Cleveland State Vikings early season slide reached five games with an 80-67 defeat at Toledo as a 15 point underdog. Cleveland State trailed by 12 points at the intermission and never challenged. The Vikings held a 45.3%-38.7% shooting edge but turned the ball over 19 times which helped the Rockets to22 more shots.

Tyree Appleby carried the Cleveland State offense with 19 points and six boards along with a team high six turnovers on 6-14 from the floor and 7-8 at the stripe. The Vikings received ten points from Stefan Kenic while Rashad Williams and Algevon Eichelberger tossed in eight points each with Eichelberger grabbing six rebounds.

BGSU Falcons are 26-10 ATS in their last 36 vs. Horizon League and BGSU Falcons are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and BGSU Falcons are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. Cleveland State Vikings are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games overall and Cleveland State Vikings are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games and Cleveland State Vikings are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 vs. Mid-American.

I think Bowling Green has the better numbers but they aren’t a real good team overall so take this with a grain of salt...

Pick:
BGSU -1

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
