The Georgia State Panthers and the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will meet up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.

Georgia State comes into this game on a 19-8 mark so far. Following consecutive losses earlier this month, the Panthers have won their last three versus Troy, South Alabama and App State.

In the win over the Mountaineers, Georgia State’s lead scorer was Malik Benlevi with 20 points and nine rebounds. Kane Williams and D’Marcus Simonds each provided 18 points for the Panthers in that one as well.

Over on the Coastal Carolina side, they’re 12-13 this year. The Chanticleers have dropped their last four straight games, falling to TX-Arlington, Texas State, App State and Georgia Southern.

In the loss to the Eagles, Coastal Carolina’s Zac Cuthbertson led the team on 21 points with nine rebounds. The only other Chanticleers player in double-figures in that one was Devante Jones on 20 points and six boards.

The Panthers are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 overall and 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 after an ATS win. Georgia State is 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 versus the Sun Belt and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games.

Meanwhile, the Chanticleers are 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss and 0-4 ATS in their last four overall. Coastal Carolina is 0-4 ATS in their last four versus the Sun Belt and the under is 12-5-1 in the last 18 after an ATS loss.

Georgia State is looking good over this win streak—they had a little hint of trouble against a not-so-good App State team 80-75, but everything worked out well for the Panthers and the train keeps rolling.

Coastal Carolina may put up a bit of a fight here, but all things considered I have to go with the Panthers in this one.
