Troy has lost 10 of their last 11 games and comes into this game ranked just 178th in scoring offense, 266th in scoring defense, and 251st in defensive FG%.
Coastal Carolina has won 3 of their last 4 games and have been led by their offense this season as the Chanticleers currently rank 63rd in scoring offense, 99th in FG%, and 30th in 3P-FG%.
Troy has really struggled since the end of January and it certainly looks like it’s not getting any better after the Trojans offense was only able to muster 64 points against an Appalachian State team that ranks just 333rd in scoring defense & 310th in defensive FG%. Coastal Carolina defeated Troy by a 88-75 margin on the road in early January and as I think Zac Cuthbertson and the Chanticleers offense will have no problem putting up plenty of points in this one, I’m taking Coastal Carolina to cover this home spread.
