The Colgate Raiders battle the Navy Midshipmen in a Patriot League college basketball on Sunday.
The Navy Midshipmen kicked off the Patriot League playoffs with a 60-56 victory at American University as an eight point underdog on Thursday.
Navy sank half of their looks and limited the Eagles to 34.4% from the floor including 7-35 from beyond the arc to overcome 16 turnovers and 19 more AU shots.
Evan Wieck was the only double digit scorer with 18 points and four pulls on 7-10 from the floor with John Carter Jr adding nine points and seven rebounds.
Navy received eight points and another nine rebounds from George Kiernan followed by Cam Davis who chipped in with seven points.
The Colgate Raiders advanced to the Patriot League semifinals with an 81-69 victory over Boston University on Thursday for their 9thstraight win.
Colgate came back from a nine point deficit at the break behind a 53-32 second half run with 48.3% marksmanship and 19 forced turnovers.
Will Rayman led the Raiders with a contest high 25 points and six boards with Rapolas Ivanauskas adding 18 points and another eight rebounds.
Tucker Richardson gave Colgate 12 points, five pulls and eight helpers followed by Jordan Burns who tossed in ten points and handed out seven assists.
