The Colorado State Rams welcome the Air Force Falcons to town in MWC college basketball on Tuesday.
The Air Force Falcons fell to 0-2 in the conference after a 79-62 loss at Utah State on Saturday as a 19 point underdog.
Air Force trailed by 16 points at the halfway point and fell further behind over the final 20 minutes with the Aggies holding a 55.8%-39.3% shooting edge.
Keaton Van Soelen was the top Falcons scoring option with 16 points and four pulls with Lavelle Scottie adding 14 points and three yanks.
AJ Walker gave Air Force nine points and three assists followed by an eight point, five assist performance by Pervis Louder.
The Colorado State Rams are winless in the Mountain West after a 78-67 defeat at Fresno State as a 16 point road dog dropped the team to 0-2.
Colorado State entered the locker room trailing by 14 points and didn’t have the firepower to comeback with the Bulldogs holding a 45.6%-42.3% shooting edge and a 12-3 advantage from long range.
Anthony Masinton-Bonner starred for the Rams leading all scorers with 26 points and three yanks while Nico Carvacho added 23 points and 13 rebounds.
CSU received six points and six boards from JD Paige followed by Hyron Edwards with five points and four rebounds.
