Arkansas Razorbacks (5-1) at Colorado State Rams (4-4)
|Date & Time||Wednesday December 5, 2018, 10:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: Colorado State Rams +8 -- Over/Under: 155.5
The Arkansas Razorbacks will meet the Colorado State Rams in college basketball activity on Wednesday evening.
Arkansas currently sits at 5-1 on the year. The Razorbacks lost to Texas in their opener but since have beaten UC Davis, Indiana, Montana State, TX-Arlington and FIU in succession.
In the Panthers game, Arkansas’ Isaiah Joe broke out with 34 points, three assists and two rebounds, and Daniel Gafford added a double-double on his 23 points and 12 rebounds in the 121-89 win.
Over on the Colorado State side, they’re 4-4 this season. The Rams’ wins came courtesy of CO Christian, AR-Pine Bluff, Montana State and FGCU but they’ve lost to Louisiana, SD State, Southern Illinois and Colorado.
In the Buffaloes game, Colorado State’s top scorer was Kris Martin with 21 points and three rebounds. Nicolas Corvacho added a double-double for the Rams in that one with 15 points, 12 rebounds and two assists.
The Razorbacks are 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 non-conference games. Arkansas is 1-4 ATS in their last five Wednesday games and the under is 5-2 in their last seven overall.
Meanwhile, the Rams are 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the SEC and 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51 non-conference games. CO State is also 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 0-7-1 ATS in their last eight Wednesday games.
Had a couple of shots fallen differently in the Texas game, the Razorbacks could very well be unbeaten right now—even though they had a nail-biter 73-72 win over Indiana that could have gone differently as well.
As for the Rams, they’ve put up a few solid offensive outings, but are just hemorrhaging points on the other side. I like Arkansas to take advantage of that so I’m going Razorbacks on the cover here.
