The Oregon Ducks will travel to the CU Events Center to take on the Colorado Buffaloes this Saturday night in College Basketball action.

The Oregon Ducks won their 2nd straight game and improved to 13-8 (4-4 Pac-12) on the season after defeating the Utah Utes, 78-72, this past Thursday. Oregon was solid on the offensive end agianst the Utes, and had no trouble securing the victory after a 14-3 Ducks run gave Oregon a 60-47 lead with 7:37 left in regulation. Oregon shot 47.5% from the field and won the turnover battle by a 17-10 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Ducks was Will Richardson who had 19 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.

On the season, Oregon is averaging 71.9 ppg on 45.0% shooting from the field. The Ducks are averaging 7.6 three-pointers per game on 34.6% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Oregon has been led by Louis King (11.5 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 1.2 apg), Payton Pritchard (11.5 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 4.6 apg, 1.7 spg), Paul White (11.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.5 apg), and Will Richardson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.3 spg).

Defensively, Oregon is holding their opponents to an average of 64.8 ppg on 41.3% shooting from the field. The Ducks have a rebound margin of 1.4 and a turnover margin of 2.4.

The Colorado Buffaloes lost their 2nd consecutive game and dropped to 11-9 (2-6 Pac-12) on the season after being defeated by the Oregon State Beavers, 76-74, this past Thursday night. In a tight back and forth game in the 2nd half, Oregon State was able to pull away late for a victory after a 5-0 Beavers run gave Oregon State a 74-69 lead with just :24 seconds left in regulation. Colorado shot 50.0% from the field and 30.0% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Buffaloes was McKinley Wright IV who had 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.

On the season, Colorado is averaging 75.4 ppg on 45.6% shooting from the field. The Buffaloes are averaging 6.7 three-pointers per game on 32.8% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Colorado has been led by McKinley Wright IV (12.9 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 5.1 apg, 1.3 spg), Lucas Siewert (11.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 1.3 apg), Tyler Bey (11.6 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1.4 bpg), and D’Shawn Schwartz (8.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.0 apg).

Defensively, Colorado is allowing their opponents to average 69.7 ppg on 44.1% shooting from the field. The Buffaloes have a rebound margin of 5.1 and a turnover margin of -0.1.

The Ducks are 19-9 ATS in their last 28 Saturday games, however, just 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 road games. The Buffaloes are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, however, just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Oregon has split their last 10 games and although their defense has been solid, ranking 31st in scoring defense & 72nd in defensive FG%, the Ducks have struggled offensively this season as they currently rank just 219th in scoring offense. Colorado has lost 6 of their last 8 games and come into this game ranked 124th in scoring offense, 132nd in FG%, and 130th in scoring defense.

Oregon has seemed to find their footing after losing Bol Bol for the season and have had some impressive wins as of late agianst USC and at Utah. Colorado is a tough place to play, however, I don’t think this Buffaloes team is that great and as Oregon has a winning ATS record over their last 5 road games, I think the Ducks do enough to small road spread. Good Luck!
