Colorado Buffaloes +1
The Oregon State Beavers and the Colorado Buffaloes will meet up in college basketball action on Thursday.
The Beavers enter this matchup with a 12-7 mark on the season. Oregon State has dropped three of their last four outings, beating Washington State while falling to Arizona State, Arizona and Washington in that stretch.
In the loss to the Huskies, Oregon State’s lead scorer was Stephen Thompson with 30 points, three rebounds and one assist. The only other Beaver in double-figures there was Tres Tinkle with 18 points and nine boards.
Over on the Colorado side, they’re 11-8 this season. The Buffaloes have lost three of their last four as well, taking out California and falling to Washington, Utah and Stanford during that time.
In the loss to the Cardinal, Colorado’s Tyler Bey led the team with 17 points and five rebounds, while McKinley Wright added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists. Lucas Siewert managed 13 points with four rebounds for the Buffaloes in that one as well.
The Beavers are 7-0 ATS in their last seven after an ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five Thursday games. Oregon State is 6-2 ATS in their last eight after a straight-up loss and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 versus the Pac-12.
Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight versus the Pac-12. The under is 11-2 in Colorado’s last 13 overall and 4-1 in their last five home games.
Oregon State’s been a little iffy on points totals lately, posting sub-70 outings in two of their last three losses. That said, the Beavers offense can still get going when they’re on point against an outmatched opponent.
The Buffaloes probably fit that bill, as they’ve failed to hit 70 points in any of their last three games. I like Colorado to get a bit of a home lift here, but Oregon State is the more capable squad so I’m sticking with the Beavers on the cover.
