Colorado Buffaloes -10 O/U: 155
The Washington State Cougars and the Colorado Buffaloes will meet up on the college basketball circuit Thursday.
Washington State is .500 at 7-7 on the season so far. The Cougars are currently on a four-game losing skid, falling to San Diego, New Mexico State, Santa Clara and Washington in that span.
In the loss to the Huskies, Washington State’s CJ Ellery led the team with a double-double on 26 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. The only other Cougar in double-figures there was Jervae Robinson with 14 points and four assists.
Over on the Colorado side, they’re 9-5 this season. The Buffaloes are just 1-4 in the last five games, beating Charlotte and falling to Indiana State, Hawaii, Arizona and Arizona State in that time.
In the loss to the Sun Devils, Colorado’s McKinley Wright led the team on 12 points, three assists and two rebounds. Daylen Koontz and D’Shawn Schwartz each posted 10 points for the Buffaloes in that one.
The Cougars are 6-1 ATS in the last seven following an ATS loss and 8-2 ATS in the last 10 following a straight-up loss. Washington State is 6-2 ATS in their last eight versus the Pac-12 and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games.
Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 21-10-1 ATS in their last 32 home games and 7-15 ATS in their last 22 Thursday games. Colorado is also 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the Pac-12 and 1-5 ATS in their last six overall.
The good news about Washington State’s losing streak is that they’ve been pretty consistent putting up points, aside from that game against the Huskies where they tallied just 67. Otherwise, the Cougars managed at least 71 in each of the other three.
In theory, Colorado should outclass their opposition here, but I don’t see it, considering the Buffaloes haven’t hit 70 points in any of their last five games.
I’m going with the Cougars here.
