The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats visit the Coppin State Eagle in a MEAC college basketball tilt on Monday.

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats saw their three  game  winning streak end in a 77-71 loss  at Morgan State on Saturday.

Both teams sank shots in the 35% range with Bethune-Cookman hurt by a 4-20 effort on long balls and 23 turnovers.

Cletrell Pope kept the Wildcats in the game with 24 points and 22 rebounds while Soufiyane Diakite adding 17 points and eleven rebounds.

Malik Maitland gave Bethune-Cookman 13 points, five pulls and three assists followed by Shawntrez Davis chipped in with eight points and eight boards.

The struggles of the Coppin State Eagles continued with a 72-70 loss against Florida A&M on Saturday as a one point home favorite.

Coppin State appeared to be heading for their 4thwin of the season after taking an eight point lead in to the break before the Rattlers came back on a 47-37 second half run.

Chad Andrews-Fulton kept the Eagles in contention with 21 points and nine rebounds while Dejuan Clayton added 16 points and seven helpers.

Coppin State received eleven points and seven boards from Lamar Morgan followed by Lucian Brownlee and Kent Auslander with six points each.

Bethune-Cookman Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss and  are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 vs. Mid-Eastern Athletic. Coppin State Eagles are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.
