Gonzaga Bulldogs (7-0) at Creighton Bluejays (6-1)
|Date & Time||Saturday December 1, 2018, 2:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: Creighton Bluejays +5.5 -- Over/Under: 166
The Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Creighton Bluejays will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Gonzaga cruises in here at 7-0 on the season. The Bulldogs have thus far taken out Idaho State, Texas Southern, Texas A&M, Illinois, Arizona, Duke and North Dakota State in succession.
In the Bison game, Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke shared the scoring lead for Gonzaga with 18 apiece, along with 11 rebounds and one assist between them. Corey Kispert also had a nice game on 17 points, two assists and two rebounds.
Over on the Creighton side, they’re 6-1 this year. The Bluejays’ lone loss came to Ohio State back on November 15, but otherwise they’ve gone through Western IL, East TN State, Boise State, Georgia State, Clemson and Montana.
In the Grizzlies game, Creighton was led by Damien Jefferson’s 18 points, three rebounds and two assists, while Martin Krampelj chipped in 17 points, six rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes of action.
Gonzaga is 6-1 ATS in their last seven non-conference games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven overall. The Bulldogs are also 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 versus the Big East and 4-1 ATS in their last five following an ATS win.
Meanwhile, the Bluejays are 4-0 ATS in their last four non-conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last five following an ATS win. Creighton is also 4-9 ATS in their last 13 following a straight-up win and 1-6 ATS in their last seven Saturday games.
Outside of the Duke game, Gonzaga really hasn’t been tested much. Starting here however, we’ve got a nice run of stouter competition for the Bulldogs and we’ll get to see what they’re made of.
All of that said, I don’t think the Bluejays have quite enough clout on the roster to keep up here, so I’m taking Gonzaga on the cover.
