The Columbia Lions and the Dartmouth Big Green will meet up in college basketball activity on Saturday.

Columbia is sitting at 6-13 on the season. The Lions have lost their last three outings, falling to Princeton, Penn and Harvard across that span.

In the epic 3OT 98-96 loss against the Crimson on Friday, Columbia’s Gabe Stefanini led the team on 26 points with seven rebounds. Quinton Adlesh added 24 points for the Lions there, and Patrick Tape put up 12 rebounds with 22 points.

Over on the Dartmouth side, they’re 10-11 this season. The Green are currently sitting on a four-game losing streak, dropping to Harvard, Brown, Yale and Cornell across their last quartet of outings.

In the loss to the Big Red on Friday, Dartmouth’s top scorer was Chris Knight, who carried the team on 27 points, five assists and four rebounds. Brendan Barry added 12 points for the Green in that one, and Aaryn Rai had 11 points.

The over is 6-2 in the Lions’ last eight Saturday games and they’re 5-3 ATS in their last eight road games. The over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these teams at Dartmouth and the under 15-7 in their last 22 meetings overall.

Meanwhile, Dartmouth is 4-1-1 ATS in their last six Saturday games and the under is 9-4 in their last 13 Saturday games. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meeting between these teams and Dartmouth is 5-2 ATS in the last seven home meetings.

Dartmouth’s recent record is pretty uninspiring, but aside from that Yale game, they’ve been pretty competitive on the scoreboard over this four-game losing streak. The Green have lost by five points or fewer in those three outings.

As for Columbia, they’re right in games as well during this Ivy League swing, and they’ve been putting up nice points totals for the most part outside of that Princeton matchup (43 points).

In any case, this should be an other competitive and tense meeting. I’m learning toward Columbia here, so long as they can show up with some of the fight they had Friday evening.
