The Cornell Big Red and the Dartmouth Big Green meet in college basketball action from Leede Arena on Saturday.

Cornell enters this game at 5-15 so far. After a victory over Princeton 73-62 last weekend, the Big Red have lost their last two games to Penn 79-73 and Cornell 85-63.

In the loss to the Crimson, Cornell’s only double-digit scorer was Jimmy Boeheim with 17 points, six rebounds and one assist. Riley Voss chipped in eight points with two rebounds there as well.

Over on the Dartmouth side, they’re sitting at 8-14 this year. After an ugly nine-game losing streak, the Big Green got back in the win column in their last outing on Friday versus Columbia 65-63.

In the win over the Lions, Dartmouth’s Chris Knight put up 23 points with two rebounds and one assist. Aaryn Rai doubled up there with 11 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, and James Foye had 12 points, four assists and three boards.
The Green are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. Dartmouth is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 overall and the over is 5-2 in their last seven at home versus a team with a losing road record.

Meanwhile, the Red are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six versus a team with a losing straight-up record. The over is 6-2 in Cornell’s last eight overall and 5-0 in the last five road games.
Cornell had a pretty miserable game versus Harvard on Friday, posting a 42-15 deficit at halftime and limping to an 85-63 blowout loss. It was an obvious step back for the Big Red, who had scored 71 points or more during the three games prior.

As for Dartmouth, they’re not a great scoring team at all but to their credit they’ve been competitive in spurts lately and the Columbia win was a nice one. Still, I like Cornell to turn on the offense here and cover.
