The Dartmouth Big Green host the Harvard Crimson in the opener of their Ivy League college basketball schedule.

The Harvard Crimson head in to conference needing to bounce back from a 77-57 loss at North Carolina as a 16.5 point underdog.

Harvard just couldn’t score with the Tar Heels with 21 giveaways and 38.9% marksmanship and a 19-7 deficit at the stripe.

Robert Baker was the lone Crimson player to crack double figures with ten points with Chris Lewis adding nine points and seven rebounds.

Christian Juzang gave Harvard another nine points and four helpers while Danilo Djurcic and Justin Bassey scored seven and four points with Bassey hauling in eleven rebounds.

The Dartmouth Big Green kick off their  Ivy  League schedule off of  a  73-59 loss  to  Vermont as  an  eleven point underdog.

Dartmouth fell behind by eight points at the halfway point and fell further behind with just 34.8% shooting to lean on while the Catamounts connected at 46.3%.

Chris Knight was the top weapon for the Big Green with 19 points and 12 rebounds with Brendan Barry tossing in 13 points.

Dartmouth received eleven points and seven rebounds from  Ian Sistare followed by James Foye who contributed seven points.

Over is 8-3 in Harvard last 11 overall and over is 10-4 in Harvard last 14 road games. Under is 11-3 in Dartmouth last 14 vs. Ivy League and under is 6-2 in Dartmouth last 8 overall. Road team is 11-3-2 ATS in the last 16 meetings.

Harvard looks like the clear choice but I believe the Big Green will put up a fight…

Pick:
Dartmouth +6

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
